Description of the Land
Dairy facility sets on 88.5 acres. DAIRY HERD CAPACITY 2,600 MILKING COWS. It is located on the east side of hwy 385 12 miles north of Littlefield, Texas. The physical address is 1551 US Hwy 385 Littlefield, Texas. On the south end there is 177 acre farm with 120 acres under pivot. This is where manure water can be put out. There are underground lines connecting the wells and two manure lagoons together. We have three manure lagoons. Two of them have 40 hp floating pumps. The long lagoon by the hwy is for run off only. The large lagoon on the east side is for barn runoff. The small lagoon on the east side is for runoff only and has no floating pump. One is connected to the milk barn with a West Agro separator. There is a 12” underground line running from the barn to the separator you can pump from one lagoon to the other in both directions or to the pivot. There is an underground line to the south east corner to roll water. North of the dairy there is 88.5 acres, of which 60 acres are under the pivot. This brings the total acreage to 354 acres that go with the facility.

Dairy barn
Double 30 parallel with PBI rapid exit stalls and a Blue diamond crowd gate. The holding pen has 36” fans and water connections for misters. The parlor has rubber floor mats on the cow platform area. The cow platform and holding pen have flush valves for clean up. The parlor is equipped with natural gas overhead heaters. The dairy barn has six security cameras with a multiplexer DVR system. Different areas of the barn can be viewed on a monitor or over the internet. The DVR multiplexer can hold fourteen days of events and can be recorded on a disk. The dairy barn office is set up with the Feed watch system by Valley Ag. We can program the amount of TMR that goes to the pens in the office via a wireless connection to the feed wagon. There are two six thousand gallon Mueller milk tanks with Mueller chiller and plate cooler. The milk tanks and pipeline washers are manual with Sentry Recorders to record time and temperature, the plate cooler is two years old. The parlor is equipped with generic Surge/Westphalia none vented claws (300 cubic centimeter bowls). The pulsators are De Laval Delatrons mounted on 6” schedule 40 PVC pipe. The pipelines are 3” with ¾” nipples (7/8” OD).

Hospital Barn

Water System
The barn is supplied by 12 hp (120 gallon per minute sub pump) located on the east end of the property. In the event it should fail we can use the north irrigation well to pump
water to the barn. The lines are connected. There are three 25,000 gallon water storage tanks on the east side of the barn. One tank is for flushing, one tank for general supply and one tank for extra storage.

Corrals
There are eight 300 cow drylot pens with De Sivera stanchions. Also there are three 50 cows pens (for calving cows) and a 150 cow pen for fresh cows. On the east side there is a 75 cow pen with Albers stanchions.. There is a covered auxiliary pen with partition gates for sorting cows. Under the auxiliary pen is a set up for a custom hoof trimmer to work without affecting normal day to day activities. On the north end of the auxiliary pen there is a treatment barn with two lanes to deliver calves and do hoof trimming. We have a Tidenberg layover trim shute in the treatment barn.
