Location: Located approximately five miles SE of Uvalde, Texas on FM 1023 in Uvalde County.
Description: High fenced recreational and hunting ranch with elevations and rolling pastures. The approximately 60 acres on the east (Frio River) side of the ranch is low fenced. There are lots of huge live oaks, healthy pastures and incredible native brush providing the perfect shade and habitat for native wildlife. The entire ranch is covered with native South Texas brush including mesquite, granjeno, blackbrush, guajillo, cenizo, and acacia.
Wildlife: This is an excellent ranch with lots of deer, turkey, dove and quail. Turkey hunting on this ranch is good along the riparian areas and the river provides excellent fishing. For the past 3 years there have been releases of DMP deer consisting of: 185 whitetail doe and 80 bucks. The majority of native deer have been harvested.
Water: The ranch has over one mile of Frio River frontage on the eastern boundary of the ranch. There are total nine water wells: 1 solar well, two 150 200gpm Edwardss wells, six shallow 40 80gpm electric wells and one windmill. There are ten (10) ponds all with underground piped water from the Edwards well.
Improvements: There are two smaller houses, a 2BR/2BA brick house (approx. 2,000sq/ft) with carport and a 3,600sq/ft hunting lodge. There is a metal barn with dual roll up doors on the front side, a drive thru implement barn with enclosed shop/storage with roll-up door, an arrangement of covered horse stalls/pens and two DMP pens.
