Many mature pecan trees produce large crops of nuts. Black walnut trees can also be found along Pine Creek. Dogwoods are plentiful. The north pastures produce thick Johnson grass that makes excellent hay.
Water: Redbud Ranch has nearly 1.5 miles of frontage along Pine Creek which offers excellent boating and crappie and catfish opportunities.
