LOCATION: The entrance is on FM 127. The property is located 80 miles northwest of San Antonio, 25 miles north of Uvalde, and 20 miles northwest of Sabinal, and 1.5 mile east of Concan, Texas. Concan was settled about 1840, and was supposedly name for coon can, a Mexican gambling game.   Today, Concan is comprised of many dude ranches, resorts, lodges, restaurants, dance halls and the Roy Bechtol Golf Course and Country Club.
AIRPORT: Garner Field Airport (KUVA) is located 3 miles east of Uvalde and has a 5256 foot runway.
