Redbud Ranch is a turn-key, highly improved, 848 acre spread of wildlife-rich timber and fertile pasture. It is truly a gorgeous place. With nearly 1.5 miles of frontage along Pine Creek, the ranch affords some of the finest whitetail hunting in Northeast Texas. Pine Creek is renowned for holding monster whitetails. Soil: A variety of fertile loams (Woodtell, Annona, Sandy) and clays give this ranch excellent agricultural potential.
Vegetation: The namesake redbud can be found is large numbers along Redbud Creek, running through the ranch. Pines, hickory and oaks make up the majority of the wooded areas. Many mature pecan trees produce large crops of nuts. Black walnut trees can also be found along Pine Creek. Dogwoods are plentiful. The north pastures produce thick Johnson grass that makes excellent hay.
Water: Redbud Ranch has nearly 1.5 miles of frontage along Pine Creek which offers excellent boating and crappie and catfish opportunities. An approximately 5 acre beautiful lake lies within the high-fenced section. The cabins have an excellent lake view. Redbud Creek runs through the middle of the ranch. Every pasture has a pond (10 in all) that holds water well. With close proximity to the Red River the water table is very shallow.
Redbud has no shortage of improvements and has been thoughtfully enhanced with superb quality roads, fences, barns and cabins.
