This represents a total of 4 million acres of land for sale in the state (accounting for around three percent of the state's land area). Of the 254 counties in Texas, Henderson County had the most land and farms for sale. The most expensive land listed for sale in Texas on Lands of America recently was $250 million, while the average price of land and rural real estate for sale in Texas was $1 million. Based on comps submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program last month, Texas had the most land sales. Of the 675 recorded land sales, the total value of all completed sales was $316 million for all property and land sold in Texas Henderson County had the most land sales recently in the state.
