This fertile farm land is located just minutes from the new Texas A&M campus in north McAllen. It's sandy loam soils have grown everything from watermelons, sunflower seeds, potatoes, sesame, corn and currently planted in Milo. There's a retention pond on the south side which has been used to store water which is pumped to a sprinkler system for irrigation.( Or, you can make it a permanent fishing pond ). County Road 3401 fronts the west side of the farm giving it easy access from FM 490 or Mile 14 .
