The 640 acres has a nice mix of partially cleared pasture for livestock grazing and more heavily brushed shinnery oak cover for wildlife. The shinnery thickets are an excellent draw for game especially when acorn drops occur in the fall. Large populations of whitetail deer, wild hogs and turkey venture from the surrounding ranches to take advantage of the great food sources on the Pearce Section.
