Rocky Creek Ranch is an awesome 788+/- acres with the most elevation changes I've ever seen in Comanche or Hamilton Counties. Not only does it have the Rocky Creek running through it but the numerous huge draws and canyons causes there to be a ton of amazing wet weather creeks as well.
I like to describe this ranch in two different ways... Grass pastures (184 acres) and the Brush Pasture (604 acres)
GRASS PASTURE W/ HEADQUATERS:
Welcome to one of the most "Turn-Key" Ranches in central Texas. The property is located in Eastern Comanche County, approximately 10 miles SW of Hico, TX, 15 miles NW of Hamilton, TX, and 20 miles east of Comanche, TX. This part of the ranch has been in the same family since 1849, and has been highly improved over the years.
The house is a large rock 3,600 sq ft (approximate) home that includes, 5 bedrooms (one being a nice size master suite), 3 bathrooms, ...+ Show More
From Hamilton, take Hwy 36 west approximately 8 miles, turn right on CR 106, go about 2 miles and turn left (at "T" in the road) on CR 105, which immediately turns into CR 396 as you enter Comanche County, follow this road approximately 3 to 4 miles and when CR takes a 90 degree turn to the left, property is on the right. Look for Real Estate signs and/or metal stars on the fence.
From Hico, take Hwy 281 south about one mile, turn right on FM 1744 (toward Carlton), go about 8 miles and stay straight through Carlton by staying south on FM 1744, go about 1 miles south of Carlton and vier right on CR 127 (which shortly turns into CR 396 as you enter Comanche Co), go about 2 miles and when the CR makes a 90 degree turn to the right, the property sits on the left.
